The 1st year PULCHRA science team of our school concluded that more vegetated areas have lower temperature values leading to improved thermal comfort. However, developing vegetated areas in already developed high building density cities is challenging. Therefore, we aim to find out the building characteristics that can improve thermal comfort and mitigate the climate change impact.
The aim of our project is to find out the most appropriate materials and methods/operations for constructing a green building and develop mock-ups/models of various green buildings.
