Science Teams Activities

– In february, the representatives of the municipality and of the school (referring teachers and a representative of the students) met to agree together the ideas to be explored on which the municipality is interested for a future realization. In particular, it was decided to proceed on the following issues: draining asphalts, cycle paths and green roofs.

The students active in the project are divided into 6 groups.

– 26th January 2021. The first Pulchra workshop

During the online event, the City Science Teams presented their project ideas. The workshop was attended by professors from the University of Udine, botanists and stakeholders, in particular public administrations. The students presented nine very interesting ideas, of which 3 were approved by the public administration for their feasibility: to make the cycle track a place of aggregation and not only of passage, construction of a green roof, encourage the use of draining asphalts. – Outdoor activities

We explored the historical fountain called “Silans” (Gemona, Italy) and the paths of the waterways that feed it during a field excursion, accompanied by teachers Roberto Evangelista and Giancarlo Mio. For more details, please see the article in the “report” section (Pulchra_project_Gemona.pdf)
