Students installed tubes in 3 locations and are currently researching what is Nitrogen Dioxide as well as the effects on the environment and human health.
Students carried out a car survey and are examining cloud formation in the locality.

Students are counting the number of cars passing the school at various times of the day to gather as much data as possible.
Students are researching the effects of Nitrogen Dioxide on the respiratory system as well as climate change.
Students are examining cloud formation to see if this will have an effect on the results.
The location of our school will have an impact on the quality of the air as we are so close to the N7 and M50 junction.

Transition Year students carried out this project last year so we are looking forward to comparing the results from last year to see if it has changed. We think it will be higher as there are more cars on the road after lockdown restrictions have lifted.
