The theme of our project is a system for the restoration of the full water cycle by retaining the water in the areas where it falls.
We want to focus mainly on the possibilities of water retention on school grounds in Šlapanice.
These methods can be used for water retention in Šlapanice later and should be presented to the public.

Ninth graders help to map the landforms on the Šlapanice River
Our school is one of more than 50 research schools in ten EU countries that are involved in the Pulchra project. In this project, we explore the city as an urban ecosystem and work to make a change for the better in the area around our school. At the end of this school year, we organised a public event where we debated with local citizens, among other things, the possibilities of using rainwater.
We learn to create a questionnaire, which we will later presented to the public.
