Project Outcomes

The purpose of this activity was to build a structure that can provide food for butterflies – a butterfly-bar – and thereby attempt to increase the number of butterflies in the students’ neighborhood. The experimental approach concluded placing the butterfly-bar created at a suitable location as the students’ garden, a balcony, a park or some other location that the students can visit often. Finally data collection on which species of butterfly visit the butterfly-bar, how many of each species and how often offered the opportunity to both  involve parents and friends in the experience, and to verify the potential generated by the reached solution for butterfly support.
