The Laboratory of Indoor Air Quality belongs to the Section of Environmental Physics and Meteorology which is part of the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. The laboratory is accredited by the national ESYD body according to ISO 17025 with certificate number no.676 and provides measurement services for air and other pollutants for Public Bodies, Organizations, Companies and individuals, in order to meet the requirements of the Greek society and government and productive actors for sustainable, economic and technological development, combined with the protection of the environment and public health.
The Laboratory has as its object carrying out measurements concerning the indoor environment and specifically is equipped and can make measurements:
– air quality (PM10, PM2.5, PM1 and submetric particles)
– Material reflectivity and permeability
– Difference of shades, colorimetry
The Internal Environmental Quality Measurement Laboratory was accredited by national accreditation body Ε.Σ.Υ.Δ. (no. 676) for the realization of the following measurements – tests:
– PM10 concentration measurement and
-measurement of submetric particle concentration
– reflectance and permeability measurements
– color difference measurements, colorimetry
